Library Rules

Readers entering the library must comply with the library’s rules:
1. Present a valid card and submit it to the librarian upon entering the reading room. Never use someone else’s card
Eligible cards include:
. HUST staff card
. Student card of HUST
. Master’s Student Card
. Reader card
2. Maintain order and safety in the library: walk lightly, speak softly, do not smoke, do not bring combustible substances and explosives into the library
3. Do not eat, drink, do not use mobile phones in the reading room
4. Maintain general hygiene: do not throw garbage, scratch paper on the floor. Garbage must be disposed of in designated places
5. Maintain beauty in the library: do not write or draw on the table, on the wall, do not sit with your feet on the chair
6. Do not bring briefcases and bags into the library, they must be deposited at the counter before entering the library
7. Reservations are not allowed. Other readers are entitled to take a seat if it is empty for more than 15 minutes
8. In the elective reading rooms, each reader can only select a maximum of 02 books, or 02 newspapers, or 01 type of magazine (01 year). After reading, readers must return selected items in the right place before taking more documents.
9. Do not bring books out of the reading room. If readers need to make copies of documents, please ask your librarian and follow follow the procedure.
10. In Multimedia room: Websites with bad content are strictly forbidden to access. It is not allowed to install any programs or software on the computers in the library
11. Readers who violate the rule, depending on the extent, have appropriate sanctions.
