Compas is an online tool running on big data platform (BigData) developed by KISTI (Korea). The platform allows to import databases, use data mining and assist in solving problems in technology management with experience and latest information technology of Korean.

Compas is a useful tool to analyze and evaluate the current situation and make forecasts from which to orient the technology to be developed in industries and fields. The system supports experts in the process of data search and decision-making related to technology, through the review of patent documents, scientific articles, and research results. The tool also helps businesses look up patent information, the science and technology market and identify competitors.

V-compas is a Vietnamese product of Compas in Vietnam and is currently free to access and use.
